According to paleoreconstructions and regional settings, Central Kazakhstan is a set of Devonian-Carboniferous continental volcanic belts, two of which show significant potential for hosting epithermal gold and copper- porphyry deposits. Among the many deposits and occurrences, there are large porphyry copper deposits, such as Kounrad, Aktogay, Aidarly with about 5 million tons of copper reserves.
The most prospective areas are situated along the boundaries of these volcanic belts. These zones are These zones are characterized by extensive granodiorite and granite intrusions, a highly complex tectonic framework, and are considered promising for gold and porphyry copper deposits.
After thorough desktop and fieldwork, key targets were identified. The mapping campaign encompassed of the work sites, observing lithology, alteration features, and mineral occurrences. Rock chip sampling focused on the primary prospect areas and showed positive results, while soil sampling covered the entire tenement area. Analysis of the soil samples revealed correlations with alteration zones and mineral occurrences. The primary targets exhibit elevated concentrations of Cu, Mo and As, with notable Mn depletion.
