GLOBMINE RESOURCES
Location

Globmine Resources is an early-stage gold development company advancing a high-grade gold project in the Balkhash-Sayak Region of Kazakhstan. The project covers a total area of 355 sq km — recently expanded from the initial 80 sq km — situated within prominent geosyncline complexes to the north and northeast of Lake Balkhash, a region hosting 12 known major Au/Cu deposits with over 3 Moz of gold defined.

The project benefits from nearby established infrastructure in Sayak village including high-voltage power, a nearby railroad, and a regional airport in Balkhash city— significantly reducing the typical logistical hurdles associated with Central Asian exploration projects. The nearest major city, Balkhash, lies 270 km away via unpaved road, Sayak village is just about 50km.

Geological Setting

Within the area, the volcano-sedimentary sequence is intruded by the Besoba granite massif, accompanied by dikes of dioritic porphyrites and fine-grained granites. This geological setting is highly favorable for structurally controlled, granite-hosted gold mineralization

Key geological indicators supporting the project include:

  • Gold occurrences in quartz veinlet networks associated with NE-striking fault systems
  • Dyke-related gold mineralization hosted in carbonaceous siltstones adjacent to granite porphyry dykes
  • Pathfinder anomalies (As + Sb, elevated Fe & Cu) confirm a hydrothermal system.Gold occurring in free form within a low-sulfidation setting, indicating highly favorable metallurgy
  • Active artisanal mining confirming near-surface gold at the Port Royal target
Exploration targets

The project hosts six identified target areas across the 355 sq km project area. Two targets carry Soviet-era P2 preliminary resource estimates, one carries a P3 resource potential, two with demonstrated mineralization, and one with artisanal miners. Soviet-era work conducted in 1986–87 provides the historical dataset; a modern JORC/NI 43-101 compliant resource program is the primary objective of the proposed investment.

Key Investment Highlights

  • Presence of a placer gold zone, offering potential for near-term production while simultaneously advancing exploration to upgrade and expand resources.
  • Database preparation underway, enabling rapid mobilization once field season opens.
  • Phase 1 program: soil sampling, rock chip, trenching and ground magnetics to generate drill-ready targets.
  • Geological model supports a granite-hosted, structurally controlled gold system, not limited to narrow quartz veins.
  • Pathfinder anomalies (As + Sb, elevated Fe & Cu) confirm a hydrothermal system.
  • Gold occurs in free form within a low-sulfidation setting, indicating favorable metallurgy.
