In the period from 6 to 7 April, the annual mining and geological forum "MINEX Kazakhstan 2022" was held in Nur-Sultan. In Kazakhstan, this forum has been held since 2010 and is one of the main industry events in the region.
As participants of the forum, Aurora Minerals Group together with partners from Xcalibur Multiphysics presented a stand with the entire range of the group's capabilities in the field of exploration services. Within the framework of the exhibition, Aurora held a number of meetings with both current and potential customers, and an exchange of experience was also made with partners and colleagues from the exploration industry.
The founder of Aurora Minerals Group, Said Sultanov, as a moderator, held the second session of the Forum entitled "Development of promising mineral resource projects with the participation of national and international companies". At this session were discussed the prospects for the development of the exploration industry of Kazakhstan, the measures necessary to increase its investment attractiveness, also were highlighted a number of existing projects developed by both local and foreign companies.
At the 6th session dedicated to the topic "Geological exploration – resources for growth and efficiency", the Leading geophysicist of Aurora Mahmuduly Madi made a report. His report highlighted the possibilities of using a complex of modern high-precision magnetic exploration and geological routes that allow preliminary assessment of the scale of iron mineralization at one of the deposits in Central Kazakhstan. The results of the research allow us to estimate the forecast resources of possible mineralization in the first approximation, thereby being an example of the effective application of modern geophysics to calculate an economic model at an early stage of the study of iron ore objects.
