On July 1, 2020, the Capital Markets Forum online-conference was held at the Astana International Exchange. The event was organized with the aim to highlight and discuss the current state of Kazakhstan investment and capital market.
As a speaker of the event, Kaisar Kozhamuratov, partner of Aurora Minerals Group, presented a new stimulus program for junior exploration companies.
Presentation entitled “Project generation and stimulus program for Junior Gold explorers” was part of an online session “New reality for Kazakhstan Mining Sector”.
Kaisar Kozhamuratov spoke about the prospects of gold exploration growth in Kazakhstan, described different aspects of the new stimulus program for junior companies initiated by Aurora Minerals Group, and explained how this program is going to contribute to more efficient interaction between participants of Kazakhstan exploration market and attract investments in this sector of the economy.
Kaisar Kozhamuratov: “At the moment in Kazakhstan there are not many financial instruments to develop the junior exploration market to its full extent. Our stimulus program is aimed to develop the junior market and ensure the quality growth of this sector of the economy”.
The speakers at the online-session also included Kanat Kudaibergen - CEO, Tau-Ken Samruk; Nicholas Bridgen - CEO, Ferro-Alloy Resources Limited; Yury Vlasov - Senior Analyst, Sova Capital; Alexandr Marin - CEO, Atygay Gold Mining LLP; and other experts of the investment community, representatives of national companies, private enterprises, and the government officials of RK.
