The 13th Mining and Geology Minex Forum was held in Astana on April 19-20. Aurora Minerals Group together with Nova Drilling and OGK Group were sponsors of the exhibition.
Forum 2023 was dedicated to the development of the mineral resource base and modernization of the mining industry of Kazakhstan and Central Asia in a world of changing conditions and challenges, including those reflected in the markets for minerals and mining assets.
Forum participants and guests discussed key topics related to the mining industry, including environmental issues, productivity improvements and innovative technologies.
Aurora Minerals Group, together with its partner Xсalibur company, proudly presented the widest range of their services at their booth, where they demonstrated the latest developments in the exploration industry, from prediction of minerals to commissioning of deposits.
Partner of Aurora Minerals Group, Kaisar Kozhamuratov spoke at the session: "Creating a business climate for sustainable development and attracting investment in the mining industry". In his speech Kaisar gave details on the development of exploration in Kazakhstan in the context of the global energy transition.
The next speaker of the group of companies was Damir Kyzir, General Director of Nova Drilling, who made a presentation on "The Changing Market of Exploration Drilling in Central Asia, Trends and Changes" in the session on development of the mineral and raw material potential of Kazakhstan using advanced technological and investment solutions. Also in his interview with Khabar TV channel Damir spoke about the range of services provided by Aurora Minerals Group and Nova Drilling, and touched upon the potential of copper and gold projects in Kazakhstan.
The "junior" reports on individual deposits of the Republic of Kazakhstan were received with great interest by the guests of the exhibition. Geologists of Aurora Minerals Group - Zoya Yaheeva and Zarina Bulanova told about development of copper ore objects of our Clients, their geological and geochemical features, and also disclosed the applied geological prospecting methods. Further attention to the illuminated deposits and more detailed presentations to interested guests already at the Aurora stand, demonstrate the effectiveness of the reports not only for the exchange of experience and modern techniques, but also for attracting investment.
The guests of the exhibition also listened to the report of Kemal Amanbaev, Director of Aurora Geophysics. The report was devoted to modern geophysical technologies and methods used in mineral exploration, which the Group of Companies not only implements but also successfully uses for our Clients to solve a wide range of prospecting problems.
