Aurora Minerals Group are pleased to announce the upcoming Global Investment Roadshow, which will be held from February 21 to March 4, 2020. The event is organized with the aim of attracting investment in the exploration and mining sector of Kazakhstan, promoting our country on the world stage as a promising area for doing business, addressing the current situation and changes in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as discussing the country's investment climate and technological innovations successfully employed in exploration and mining.
Global Investment Roadshow kicks off in Almaty, February 21, at the Mining Club Forum: Juniors Exploration. The main topics for discussion at the forum will be the development of the market for junior companies, the problems faced by juniors in Kazakhstan, the investment attraction and the role of the government in the development of the junior market.
The Roadshow program will continue in London on February 27 at a conference on geological exploration of Kazakhstan, where current issues in the development of the industry will be discussed. Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, major mining and junior companies, as well as foreign players who already have experience of interaction and functioning in the Republic of Kazakhstan will take part in the conference.
The main event of the Global Investment Roadshow program will be participation of the Kazakhstan delegation at the largest international convention of mining and exploration companies PDAC 2020, which will take place in Toronto, Canada, from March 1st to 4th. Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) is the leading voice of the mineral exploration and development community. With over 7,500 members around the world, PDAC’s work centres on supporting a competitive, responsible mineral sector. PDAC is known worldwide for its annual PDAC Convention—the premier international event for the industry—that attracts over 30,000 people from 135 countries every year. As part of participation of the Kazakhstan delegation at PDAC 2020, a presentation session “Kazakhstan Day” is organized. The speakers at the session will include executives of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of RK, Aurora Minerals Group, JSC «Tau-Ken Samruk», JSC NC «Kazakh Invest», Haller Lomax and other companies. Also, leading foreign mining, service and consulting organizations with experience working in Kazakhstan will participate at the event. The session will highlight prospects of the Kazakhstan market, new opportunities for investors, improvements in the local legislation, and the successes of introducing innovative technologies in geological exploration of Kazakhstan.
