Drilling subdivision of Aurora Minerals Group, NovaDrilling LLP has acquired two Christensen 140 drilling rigs from the Swedish company Epiroc, a leading provider of productivity solutions for the mining and civil engineering sectors.
The Christensen 140 drilling rig has a well-earned reputation for reliability when it comes to safety and performance. Modern design and safety guards make this drilling rig safe and easy to operate, while four hydraulic adjustable legs and a folding mast make assembly much more efficient. A powerful engine, feed system and main drill winch ensure efficient drilling of deep wells. The durable Christensen 140 rig is also designed to meet tough environmental protection demands anywhere in the world.

Acquired drilling rigs will enable drill diameters from PQ to BQ and, on average, up to 1200 m. by geological cross sections of different categories of complexity and terrain. Now with technologically advanced fleet of 6 drilling rigs, NovaDrilling plans to drill more than 40,000 m. in 2020.
In connection with the acquisition of new high-end drilling rigs, NovaDrilling announces the recruitment for 8 experienced Drill Rig Operators for top projects. The selection of candidates will be carried out according to the following criteria:
- - knowledge and compliance with safety and safe work practices;
- - extensive experience in geological cross sections of different categories of complexity;
- - knowledge and skills of directional drilling technology, geotechnical drilling;
- - technical knowledge and skills in the proper selection of drilling tools, rock cutting tools and drilling fluids, as well as team members.
