Astana, Kazakhstan, April 17, 2024 - Aurora Limited presented at the 14th Mining and Exploration Forum MINEX Kazakhstan, delivering a report focused on the prospects of geological exploration in Kazakhstan.
A fresh perspective on investments and project management strategies, presented by the CEO of the company, Said Sultanov, underscored the importance of capital attraction in Kazakhstan's geological exploration. Aurora Limited also shared its successful project development cases and investment attraction endeavors.
Aurora Limited announced its exit from the drilling (NovaDrilling, AQS) and airborne geophysics (Xcalibur Smart Mapping) sectors. This strategic decision was taken after analyzing and reviewing the company's development strategy. The focus will now be on the following services: project development, license acquisition and management, geological, geophysical and logistics services in exploration.
In the context of active involvement of major global and junior companies in geological exploration and mining in Kazakhstan, significant discoveries of deposits are expected in our country, considering that 68% of global discoveries come from junior companies. Therefore, Aurora Limited expresses its openness to partnership and is ready to support companies willing to enter the Kazakhstan market, starting from company registration in the AIFC to full support and obtaining permission for extraction.
As one of the founders of the Kazakhstan Chamber of Mines, Aurora emphasized the prospects of joining the chamber, noting the increase in the number of participants to 40 companies.
Additionally, during the presentation, current partnership projects were presented, including exploration project in the Balkhash region, with detailed information on their potential and geological characteristics.
