Andrey Shakhov was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan has over 30 years of experience in the mineral geology. He started his work carrier in 1988 as geologist joining PGO "Yuzhkazgeologiya".
Andrey has worked as chief geologist, technical director at Kazakhstani geological exploration companies, where he worked on gold deposits of the Chu-Ili region, Kokshetau gold province, worked on prospecting and exploration of copper-porphyry, copper-gold and polymetallic deposits of Pavlodar, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions.
In 2011-2014 he worked on preparation of mining operations at Dolinnoye deposit. For the last 6 years has worked as a deputy technical director at major mining projects in Iran.
With over 30 years of experience in managing and conducting geological exploration, Andrey authored and co-authored a number of reports on mineral resource and mineral reserve estimates of gold deposits according to GKZ and JORC standards (Novodneprovskoe, Raygorodok, Naimanzhal, Baritovy, Koskuduk, Baltemir, Beschoku, Baitemir, Yubileinoe, Boko-Vasilievskoe, Kopaly, Zhilandy and Dolinnoye).
Additionally, Mr. Shakhov has experience in preparing mining projects for listing on the London Stock Exchange.

Aurora Minerals Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Damir Kyzyr as the Director of NovaDrilling LLP.
Since the first days of Aurora Minerals Group creation, Damir Kyzyr has worked as a director, project manager and managing director. In 2018, he was involved in establishing NovaDrilling, a subsidiary of the Group for core drilling.
From February 2019 to September 2020, he worked in his own consulting company KZR & Company and Eurasian Group (ERG), within the framework of establishment of ERG Exploration company, in the Directorate of Business Development.
Brief biography.
Damir Kyzyr is a Bolashak Fellow and holds a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada. In 2008, he received the Degree of Oil and Gas Engineer from K.I. Satpayev KazNTU, Almaty.
He began his career in 2012 in the Republican Center for Geological Information "Kazgeoinform" at the Committee for Geology and Subsoil Use of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where he rose from an engineer of geoinformation support (GIO) to the head of a service. He participated in the implementation of international projects to introduce the standards of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) and the Eurasian Geoportal project in Kazakhstan. In 2014, he underwent an internship in the Department of Industrial and Innovation Development of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2014 to 2015, he worked as an expert of the Department for Development of Investment Cooperation in the field of subsoil use, the Department of Subsoil Use of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
