Days of Australia Mining And Metallurgical Complex in Kazakhstan

Within the second session of the mining and metallurgical Congress AMM-2017 was held a round table “Days of Australia MMC in Kazakhstan”.

Director General of Aurora Minerals Group Kaisar moderated this round table.

A welcome speech was delivered by Peter Tesch Australian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Kanat Baitov Deputy Head of the Committee for industrial development and occupational safety of Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Richard Leather Senior trade Commissioner and Consul General of Australian Trade and Invesment Commission in West Europe, Russia and CIS.

Presentations were given by Fidelis Suorineni Professor and Chair of Mine Geotechnical Engineering, School of Mining Engineering, University of New South Wales, Tony Thornton Director General of Iluka Exploration Kazakhstan, Bauyrzhan Mudarissov Managing Director of “Kazgeologia” National Geological Exploration company, Stuart Miller Vice President – EMEA, Orica, and Eric Kanaev Director – Central Asia, Micromine.

Our partner Peter Lawrence – General Manager Business Development of Australian company GroundProbe gave presentation “Slope Stability Radar”. This radar was also presented in the exhibition pavilion of Congress.
